Self-knowledge for self-acceptance and ultimately, self- love

In the wake of Valentine’s Day I have been reflecting on love. Love is ultimately the most powerful force in the universe and truly all there is. We are love.

Despite this, in society people feel so lonely, afraid, and isolated. We forget our true nature and think love is something we seek outside of ourselves, forgetting that it is our truest essence.

This is more than just a lack of love but a lack of understanding of the self. People feel alienated from their true nature. It’s hard to love ourselves when we can hardly understand who we are. In my eyes, the foundation of self love comes from self-acceptance which starts with self-knowledge.

We spend so much of our precious energy wondering why we can’t just do things like everybody else or think there is something fundamentally wrong with us if we prefer to do things in a different way. But the truth is that is intentional! Once we can understand and ultimately accept our truest nature we can create the foundation for self love. The kind of self love that is unconditional and so fulfilling.

If you want to understand who you are at a deeper level, explore your human design. We all have incredibly unique designs and the more we are aware of how our souls deeply desire to be, the more we can understand, accept, and ultimately love ourselves.
